Wild Western Winds Productions brings together historical research, storytelling, educational presentations, and creative productions to share the people, places, and stories of the American West. Based in New Mexico, our work is rooted in a belief that history is more than names and dates—it is the stories of real people and the places where they lived, worked, struggled, and left their mark.

From original historical research and archival records to live storytelling, public programs, and special events, Wild Western Winds Productions works to make history engaging, accessible, and meaningful to audiences today.

Pamm Reynolds is an independent historical researcher, writer, storyteller, and producer whose work focuses on the people and stories of the American West. Born in Missouri and now based in New Mexico, her interest in Western history has grown into years of research, travel, archival investigation, and storytelling.

Her research has taken her from libraries and archives to historic trails, military posts, cemeteries, and communities across the West and Midwest. She has spent more than a decade researching the story of Cathay Williams and William Cathey, examining military records, newspapers, census records, institutional records, and other primary sources to better understand the history behind one of the West’s most enduring stories.

Pamm shares her research through public presentations and oral storytelling, with an emphasis on making history understandable and engaging while remaining grounded in the historical record. Her work also explores Buffalo Soldiers, New Mexico history, the Santa Fe Trail, historic military sites, pioneer families, and the many lesser-known people whose experiences helped shape the American West.

Wild Western Winds Productions grew from a simple idea: some of the most compelling stories in history are the ones that have been overlooked, misunderstood, or nearly forgotten.

Through research, storytelling, educational programs, historical events, and creative productions, our goal is to bring those stories forward—not simply to preserve the past, but to help people connect with it.
